Recycling

The village currently has the following recycling facilities:

There are two bottle banks in the car park of the Community Centre for all glass jars and bottles.  In considertation of local residents please only use the glass recycling between the hours of 0700hrs and 2130hrs.

Income is shared equally by the Community Centre and Sporle Parish Council. The Community Centre uses the money towards the upkeep of the hall and car park. Whereas the Council sets aside their share towards future repairs to grit bins, street lights, dog waste bins, tree surgery and any other unexpected maintenance costs.

Newspapers, textiles recycling facilities have now been moved next to the two bottle banks in the car park of the Community Centre.

Textile recycling is now available also in the car park of the Community Centre.

Inside the Community Centre there is a collection point for batteries, and used postage stamps.

Income generated for the village from recycling in 2018/2019 was £931.13.

Income generated from the village from recycling in 2019/2020 was £926.42
